I'm Marie Ray.
I specialize in helping adults in transition; whether that be related to spiritual, marital, relational, or just plain life! It happens for all of us at some point, and I have learned that it can be more effectively processed when shared or experienced with another, or others, who can help provide support and insight. Most often family or good friends can help us muddle through, but sometimes our life issues demand a little bit more. I offer adult groups and individual sessions. These often include work related to addiction, relationships, divorce, or loss.
I also specialize in working with children diagnosed with ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome, Autism, and PDD. This includes teaching parents how to help their children recognize and manage their emotional and behavioral responses in relationship with others, and teaching children how to successfully navigate their friendships and school environment. Support during this process also includes involvement in school ARD and roundtable meetings, as well as working one-on-one with the child's teachers, school administrators, doctors and other therapists.
